HVAF
HVAF of Indiana, Inc., a United Way non-profit organization, is dedicated to eliminating homelessness for veterans and families through prevention, education, supportive services and advocacy. HVAF provides supportive, structured housing to Indiana veterans with the assistance necessary to ensure successful independent living in the community.

YMCA Military Outreach Initiative -
      Receive assistance with YMCA membership and its benefits.  Miami and Cass  
      County are involved in this program.

The Real Warriors Campaign
     An initiative launched by the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health
     and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) to promote the processes of building resilience, 
     facilitating recovery and supporting reintegration of returning service members, 
     veterans and their families.  Great resource for families, service members and 
     health care professionals.

Online or Over Video, TRICARE Reaches Out With Expanded Behavioral Health Care Services for Vets
     Read about how veterans and their families can utilize TRICARE services close to
     home with new telehealth approaches.

Joining Forces
     Attention Health Care Professionals: attend 4 30-minute broadcasts designed for 
     those responding to the health care needs of returning military members (including 
     TBI, PTSD and depression).  CEU's are available.

 Give an Hour
 GAH is dedicated to meeting the mental health needs of the troops and families affected by the ongoing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. We provide counseling to individuals, couples and families, and children and adolescents. We offer treatment for anxiety, depression, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, sexual health and intimacy concerns, and loss and grieving.

Grace After Fire
...a place for women veterans, and their loved ones, to connect with one another and with our professional partners, to find resources, to learn and to get involved.

Starting now TRICARE beneficiaries who want to learn more about their health care plan and how it works can get short, relevant tips once a month with the launch of TRICARE TV. The first episode called “What Is TRICARE?” gives beneficiaries an overview of TRICARE health care plans and some of the special programs offered.
